the most important things about me in no particular order:

• i grew up in the piedmont of north carolina, where i spent my days running around barefoot in the woods, and writing little stories about being a secret agent, or an alien with super powers

• in 2013 i started studying german language and literature, russian and english linguistics at the university of north carolina at chapel hill

• in 2017 i moved to columbus, ohio and began studying at the ohio state university, while simultaneously teaching german

• shortly after i received my bachelor, i remembered how much i wanted to be a writer when i was 10, and i started to write more in my freetime 

• in 2020 i finished my master thesis, where i published an analysis about the importance of memory and narrative in commemorative war statues

• during the pandemic, i began to be more active as a freelance translator and interpreter, translating for professors, and other private clients

• since summer 2022 i moved back to berlin, where i have been working as a professional and freelance translator, interpreter and teacher of german

• in my freetime i have been taking photos of this wonderful city, and working on a fruitful career in writing
